SHEN YE UPPERHILLS MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT

A new destination located just north of Shenzhen’s main central business district, this mixed-use development features two landmark towers, a ballroom pavilion, and a large, elevated town center that connects the city’s two major parks with two pedestrian bridges: Lotus Hill Park to the southwest and Beacon Hill Park to the northeast. The town center and enlivened podium below (including a large indoor mall and an up-scale shopping street provides a variety of retail and entertainment experiences.

Designed with an emphasis on elegance and simplicity, the towers are timeless additions to the Shenzhen skyline, incorporating flexible floor plates, highly efficient systems, and unobstructed city views—all features that greatly enhance the user experience as the world-class work and hospitality facilities. SOM also designed the two bridges featuring a meandering pathway to form a seamless urban eco-system along with the development and the public amenities.
