SOUTH CHINA OPERATION CENTER FOR A ZHEJIANG-BASED LARGE INTERNET COMPANY

The project is located on an unusual site that consists of two plots facing each other across the street. The south tower is 207 meters tall while the north tower is 57.5 meters tall. The two office towers are connected by an overpass, which not only decreases traffic at the street level but also creates a seamless connection between the roof gardens on the north and south plots to form an expansive and connected green space. The design of the project is inspired by the concept of a vertical village with multiple levels and layers that naturally form two types of atrium spaces on each floor—open and closed. By carving out corners of each building, the project creates a dramatic social experience for staff and visitors to enhance the company’s enterprise Internet culture and surrounding environment.
