NANJING VERTICAL FOREST
Located in Nanjing’s Pukou district, the Nanjing Vertical Forest project features two towers and are characterized by the alternation of green tree pools and balconies, which also follow the shape of the Milan Vertical Forest. Along the façade, 600 large trees, 200 medium trees and 2,500 shrubs and drop plants will cover an area of 6,000 square meters. Such a true vertical forest will regenerate local biodiversity and absorb 25 tons of carbon dioxide per year while releasing 60kg of oxygen per day.
