WUHAN FUTURE CENTRE PROJECT(DEMONSTRATION AREA)

This project is located at the former site of Shenlong No. 1 Factory in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, with the surrounding commercial facilities are relatively lacking, how to activate the core of the area by designing an active commercial atmosphere is the biggest difficulty of the project. When design this project, the team started from the upper-level planning, and carried out the overall planning and design of two independent plots, echoing the urban green belt and introducing the urban landscape, creating a public space with a strong commercial atmosphere and bright spots, which can flexibly radiate the surrounding commercial and residential areas, activate the core block of urban residents’ life, the architectural details fully consider the landing on the basis of ensuring the architectural shape and effect.
