This project is located in the old public concession of Shanghai, the land used to be the building materials market, after years of haphazard development after disorder. Through the transformation, we planned the north-south commercial main street, so that the business facade and the outside swing have good sunshine, conducive to the growth of micro landscape greening, improve the comfort of the environment, create a sense of “no boundary”, increase people’s willingness to enjoy the outdoors. The church (cultural preservation building) was restored to restore its former style. The project takes on a new look through renovation. The new business is in sharp contrast to the surrounding indigenous people, while creating a good atmosphere of co-existence.
