BEIJING LONG STREET URBAN RENEWAL

The project is located in the Huilongguan area of Beijing, the original building is a low-cost apartment with an above ground area of 95,400 square meters, consisting of several four-story buildings in a block. Huilongguan is known as the “Sleeping City”, and the commercial projects in the area are underdeveloped, with low-end brands.
The area was in desperate need of a new commercial program, and this renovation project was born. The design creates a new commercial center for the northern part of the city with a new neighborhood atmosphere. The neighborhood will feature new lifestyle, dining and entertainment businesses, and will be organically integrated with urban shared gardens, themed plazas, and outdoor sports and recreation areas. It will create a social sharing and pet-friendly regional experiential living space, revitalize the commercial vitality of the northern part of the city, and lead the upgrading of regional consumption and experience.
