Concept Design for Renovation of Dingshu Characteristic Town, YixingCity

The design combines the spatial characteristics of Shushan slices with the logic of city operation, and form the renewal strategy of “stock update mainly, moderately increment development”, and guide the urban renewal in a dynamic way.
Create three city value:
1, Ecological value: connect the original ecological mountain and water axis, fully open the original inward mountain and water to create Shushan landscape space axis maximizing the mountain and water landscape value.
2, Cultural value: continue of the original ancient South street historical building relics forming the spontaneous renewal of West streets and Water Bank Literature Brigade Update area, at the same time inherit the Millennium Kiln Fire to build dragon Kiln culture ancient village group.
3, Industry value: along the original urban industrial corridor to create a distinctive industrial relics of the culture park.
