Ms. Zhu Zheng graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Architecture. She has served as the Design Director at China Overseas Property Shenzhen Co., Ltd., and the Design Director for China Overseas Property Group (Western Region), and is currently employed at Gemdale Group. With over twenty years of experience in large real estate companies, Ms. Zhu has amassed extensive expertise and professional reputation in the design and project management of residential and commercial formats, earning over ten patents.
Ms. Zhu has led her team not only to create and advance urban development with competitive products highly rated by the market but also to win numerous domestic and international design awards, including the German Red Dot Design Award, China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award, and real estate design awards.
In leading product R&D at Gemdale Group, she adheres to the pursuit of originality and sustainable living, insisting on innovative concepts to develop products. She established the Gemdale Group product system standards and brand, comprehensively coordinating market trends and customer research, product innovation, development and application, and the application management of the product standardization system. Ms. Zhu has developed and continually updated several product series such as “China-chic,” “Topview,” “Upview,” “Cosmo,” as well as “China-chic,” “Brown-stone,” “Eminence,” “Green,” “Topview,” driving the development of real estate design and achieving sustained leadership and customer satisfaction for Gemdale’s products.

A Decade’s Hall | CREDAWARD 10th Anniversary Message
2024 marks a memorable year as CREDAWARD turns ten. First off, happy birthday to CREDAWARD! It also signifies my 30th year in the design industry, a milestone worth commemorating. Compared to the rapid development of the past two decades, the pace has slowed, and when faced with challenges, we all experience tension, unease, and anxiety. At times, we feel like doing nothing; at others, we’re driven to strive harder, and sometimes we’re just lost, unsure of our next steps. Such fluctuations are common in everyone’s life.
With the pace slowed, there’s now time to read books that were once neglected, meet people we couldn’t see, and visit places we couldn’t go. Spend the extra time reading, especially those seemingly impractical theoretical books, and learning more. Exercise well and chat with people you like. Engaging in these activities doesn’t mean giving up. Design is a journey filled with encounters with various people and experiences, as well as partings. Yet, I believe those who love design will always persist. After an era of intensity, it’s time to quiet down, reflect on the essence of design, and use the time to mature a vision for the future.
I wish everyone a journey filled with magnificent views and blossoming paths.
