Shanghai Ruian Jingting

Rui Hong New City, an unusual large-scale integrated residential area, is developed in Hongkou District by the Shui On Land Limited. The base area is 1,215,300 square meters, most of which is mainly for residential development.

According to the planning concept of Ruihong New City, the land plays the important role of connecting the westand east commercial blocks. Therefore, we plan to integrate two of the small apartments, southeast corner of the base, and the south business. The other eight residential buildings arranged in the north of the base are designed into the shape of “八”(“eight” in Chinese), every two buildings are enclosed to the heart to form a grand garden with inward direction. This can improve the quality of the district, and successfully organize an external commercial street and really create a comprehensive high-level residential community.

For the building appearance, based on coordinating architectural style of Phrase 1and 2 in Rui Hong New City, a more stylish, rich architectural temperament are promoted. What’s more, the simple and straightforward volume of the buildings are highlighted through bold contrast of the material and color.
