BUND SOHO

BUND SOHO is on the junction of the historic Rock or South Bund area adjacent to the Yu Yuan Park. The building design is based on a series of overlapping planes creating a strong East – West movement. This architectural language determines the rhythm and layout of the landscape base design which extends the modules of the planes from inside to outside, echoing the patterns in the exterior spaces and alleys. Due its proximity to the park, there is a high green ratio requirement, which is fulfilled by a series of elevated planters placed between the ‘ribs’ of the base layout. A continuous water channel with modern features draws attention to the development and the retail environment.
