R+F Yingkai Plaza

R&F Yingkai Plaza is located in the east of Hua Xia Road of Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou.  The overall height of tower is 285m.  It is a super high-rise mixed-use building with retail, 5A office, service apartment and 28 luxury condos and Park Hyatt Hotel with 184 guestrooms.

The shape of entire building is inspired by the natural organic growth process to create 7:1 slender proportion of building.  The combination of oblique cutting at corner and vertical building has metaphor of the growth of bamboo.  The details crafts the status to and construction related parts in a stack of function, form in a static dynamic, giving the building a extremely suction rising feeling, to form a kind of static movement.  The throughout façade of tower is a series of vertical elements with strong and compression texture to respond the different floor height with different functions.
