FANG DING ·HENAN CULTURE VILLAGE A SMALL GARDEN

Project FANG DING·HENAN located in city Zhengzhou, Henan province. There are 600 years old village, natural view of lakes and mountain, and local cave dwelling. To match up with the new Chinese style buildings, how can the designer define the life style with landscape.

The project targeted to fully show the culture sign and spirit with 3500m2 exhibition model area. The magnificent building style mixed with elegant life style of south China in the project. In the meantime, it brought the questions about the protection and thinking of Chinese traditional culture. What the designer did here is to renew the old style into new form. The project used the landscape to express designer’s feelings, the ideas of the owners, and the life dreams of the user.

1, Touring line and the utilizing of the wall

There are 5 kinds of landscape walls. Because of it, the 3500m2 area was riched. It makes the space more fun.

2, Vegetation

Raindrops drummed rhythmically against the banana leaves, quiet bamboo grove, and red maple with snow, the designer used many kinds of vegetation to translate the spirit of Chinese culture into real landscape, which included seasonal changes.

3,Space of living

Returning to life it-self, landscape needs to be practical. It aims to bring people the experience of pleasure.
