Vanke Daming Palace

The Project is located in the north of Xi’an, southwest of Taihua Road and north of Xuanwu Road, with proximity to the Daming Palace National Heritage Park. Adhering to the concept of respecting cultural connotation of Daming Palace and the surrounding natural environment, the project is planned in the urban planning concept of Tang Dynasty to extend the overall pattern of ancient Xi’an. Following the traditional planning concept, a central public space with the plaza, aisle, waterscape square, winter palace and summer palace arranged on the central axis is built to demonstrate compact building system in the ancient times. The progressive layers in space and comparison in scale bring the unique spatial experience of ancient Xi’an back to life. Centering on the open, inclusive and magnificent Daming Palace National Heritage Park, an international residential area of imperial aura will be constructed.
