Vanke Dream City Sales Center

Dream City is a new residential project developed by China’s real estate giant VANKE in the new district of Xi An City. Situated at the south end of the central park, and with a view to the central city zone, the demonstration area is the main entrance leading to Dream City. The Sales Center is the core building, its facade is covered with perforated aluminum sheets, which not only endows the overall building with exquisite texture but also optimizes the lighting effect at night. In this way, the building looks different at distinct times in a day. Both the landscape of the demonstration area and the Sales Center building were designed with clear geometric broken lines, which form various visually striking combinations of volumes and planes. The roof garden of the Sales Center integrates the building with the surrounding landscape as a whole. As the center of the future city, the central park is endowed with typical charm of urban park because of its geometric structure full of straight lines which differentiate it from natural parks in suburb residential areas. VANKE intended to highlight the youthfulness and inject vitality to the new district through various design methods.
