Our Tampines Hub

Our Tampines Hub (OTH) is Singapore’s first and most ambitious integrated hub. It synthesises many micro-environments into one, giving a sense of place and community unprecedented in scale, complexity and density. As a superblock of everyday life, it condenses 12 governmental agencies with over 30 facilities under one roof for residents to gather, bond and create lasting memories. OTH was envisioned as a collaborative between agencies, stakeholders, grassroot organisations and residents. From inception, the community was engaged to participate in the design process, allowing us to design both with and for the people of Tampines. Moreover, OTH breaks away from the conventional siloed organisation, and shifts towards a collaborative design and operational ethos. This promotes synergistic programming, allowing stakeholders to explore fresh ways to co-locate, co-share and collaborate, creating a network of shared spaces and collective identities that enliven the Kampong spirit.
