Trace of Time

This design project is located in the public space on the ground floor of the congregate residential building, where the designer takes us back to the Renaissance with the living atmosphere from the Renaissance period through the transformation of space and time, and presents it physically as the social venue for the residents. Moreover, this place further represents “station”, the stop for changing the mood before going home, which guides people from the “Past” to transfer and head towards the “Future”.

The raised ceiling and low windows within the area further extended the openness of the field of vision, thereby emphasizing on the flow of lights and shadows as well as the spaciousness of the space.
