Cabin in the Woods
From the beginning of concept orientation, the project is destined to be different from the general real estate sales office. It is no longer the architect’s self satisfaction of showing off his skills, nor the gaudiness of being rich and powerful, but the purity and truth of being washed out. The project is close to the urban green belt, and the customers are positioned as the post-80s generation with high cultural consumption and advocating simplicity. Design practitioners appeal for the close proximity of the site characteristics to create a “cottage in the forest, home in the park”. The different function modules are carried by the yard which symbolizes “home”. The small trees in the yard are full of vitality, accepting sunshine, air and rain.
