Online City

The project is located in the Baoshan district of Shanghai. Based on the geographical location of the site, the design takes the rail transit route as an inspiration. The design also integrating with the architectural language, extracted familiar and resonant symbols from local residents. In the meanwhile, the curvilinear paving design not only adds the site a sense of art, but functionally leading the space as it uses ‘Chinese Red’ that same with the color of route 1. Thus it becomes an open space within the city that focusing on experiencing the concept of ‘CO-LIFE’. Moreover, the site will be interactive, exciting, and lively which differs from the previous demonstration areas.
