17 Miles

Chongqing Vanke 17 Miles is a unique exploration in large-scale Chinese commercial residential design. It uses modern architecture language to articulate a hilltop city community on the slopes next to Jialing River. LWK is responsible for the masterplanning and design of the project, which is an ‘exploration of the future and the stars’. The sales gallery is shaped as ‘The Observatory’ upon the Jialing River.
As the heart of the future community, life will flow from the distinctive futuristic hilltop towards the river.
