Flowing Water Art Museum on Jialing River

“The most comfortable place must be the most natural place.”. The project is located in the riverside area of Jialing River in Chongqing, across the river from Ciqikou Ancient Town. The current situation of the site is the old sales department ten years ago, and the owner’s demand is to retain the old building and use the existing foundation layer to carry out the design with the landscape as the leading factor. The natural forces precipitated from the river scenery and the old site make the designer and the site have empathy, so he decided to use a minimalist method to build a place to settle down the spirit – the “flowing water Art Museum” on the Jialing River, and use it to collect nature, activate the senses, and release the natural forces. It presents the design concept of “simple and boundless curating nature”.
