Xi’an Jiangshan Academy Courtyard Demonstration Area

Traditional Chinese space pays attention to encirclement and emptiness. Architecture grows out of the environment, and the environment is the derivative of architecture. The two complement each other. Through the enclosed space of the building and the application of five traditional Chinese courtyard space construction techniques, “rise, ride, turn, close and release”, the designer creates different courtyard artistic conception, and tries to create a contemporary cultural life and residence that is unique to Xi ‘an.
