The Floating Pier

The Floating Pier is located in the east bank of Ganjiang River, Southwest of Central Urban Area, core area of the Chaoyang New Town in plan. The Tower, 33m high, is constructed with a ripple-like public roof to represent the unique river culture of Nanchang. Besides, the design of double spiral stairs and 360°view are also eye-catching. Lighting plan is fully based on overall design of buildings and landscape by coordinating surrounding areas and space relations with landmark night view to create an attractive night view effect. The theme of this lighting design is “tower in the cloud”. Massive building spiraling and future-sense arc lines create an amazing visual experience. As for other outdoor room opening to the public, the lighting systems aim at creating the sense of starlight, nebula and the Milky Way.
