Gemdale Project is located in Tianjin, the oldest port on the northern region of the Yellow River, and the southern end point of food transportation from the north along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Thereby, cemented Tianjin’s status of an international transport and logistics hub. The water of the Tianjin Harbour melded harmoniously with the pristine colour and texture of the Yellow River, which was the source of inspiration for the design of the sales centre, imbuing the design with a strong and stately visual sense.
