Jing’an Greenland Mirror Bay Town
Mingjingting is adjacent to the Liaohe River in the East and the Fayao temple. It is based on the profound Mazu Zen culture and implanted into the local life scene to create a Zen place that is not rigid in form. To meet life with a more peaceful and natural attitude is the sentiment we want to convey to people through the project. The whole building is made up of a roof with extended curved roof, a simple curtain wall system, an integrated corridor and a enclosed courtyard gate Pavilion, forming a nested relationship between the top and the bottom. Although the roof is in the form of temple, the metaphor of traditional Chinese sloping roof can be seen though it is out of place and out of shape. The spatial relationship and details of the building reflect the wisdom of Chinese Zen.
