Xichen Paradise Walk

Xichen Paradise Walk is the retail component of an integrated complex in the heart of west Chengdu, at the base of two office towers and adjacent to the residential component. Accessibility and transparency underpin the architectural design, featuring a ‘multi ground floor’ concept to allow entry from different levels and directs a larger traffic flow to the higher levels. The elevation features an interplay of geometric shapes where an iconic lantern-like façade makes the building recognizable from a distance. To promote a sense of youth and prosperity, a flower theme is used in the common area with big flower-pod installations above a friendly social space, with an outdoor rooftop piazza for public events.
