DAWAN VILLAGE VISITOR CENTER IN JINZHAI

This project is funded by the local government in order to enhance the local people’s social connectivity. Under the unique and beautiful environment of Dabie Mountain, the design follows the concept of “conforming to nature”. Base on the local natural conditions, project builds along the mountain, it fills the gap between the old buildings and the natural environment. At the same time, it generates a connection between man and nature. The project keeps the connection between the original settlement block and the mountain, combines the village texture, cluster space and architectural form. It uses local materials to strengthen the regionality of the building, so that the building can be integrated into the scenery and renovated along the ancient times.
