LUMINA SHANGHAI

The 280-meter-tall Lumina Shanghai by Henderson Land is the tallest skyscraper in the bustling Xuhui Riverside District, joining the urban skyline as a prominent part of the West Bund Development master plan. It overlooks Shanghai’s Qiantan district and Huangpu River, and echoes the tall buildings of Lujiazui across the Bund. Inspired from white magnolia buds, representing beauty and strength, the tower’s form is reminiscent of budding and blossoming branches. As a landmark tower, rising from the ground, with a delicate three-dimensional curved form, its crown is as if a new beginning, marking a new horizon along the riverbank, and defining a new height point for the riverside, being the new momentum of future development in the district.
