CR LAND NANJING QIAOBEI MIXONE

The Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, completed and opened to traffic in 1968, is still an important landmark and urban symbol in Nanjing where historical heritage and cultural sites abound. Nanjing Qiaobei Mixone is a medium-sized shopping center redevelopment project adjacent to the north of the bridge we hope to make best use of the project’s unique geographical feature of “symbiosis with the bridge” The whole strategy has at its own core the concept which is “seeing everything through the bridge” Echoing the regional context, introducing an open and unique urban landscape, creating indoor and outdoor multi-level space experience, compounding efficient and open TOD, and connecting multiple dimensions to form a regional public rail interchange space. The redeveloped building is a dynamic organization that pays tribute to the historic site, stitches the urban fabric together and enhances the regional impact.
