LAZADA ONE

Situated within Singapore’s art & museum district, Lazada One comprises both contemporary commercial and office spaces. Originally completed in 1989, the building underwent an Asset Enhancement Initiatives in 2018. The exercise transformed the building into modern office spaces with a touch of innovation and modernity. To increase the connectivity of the development, the ground floor was designed to strengthen the linkage between two adjacent MRT stations. On the outside, a subtle visual connection was established between the Lazada branding and the façade design through the use of tri-tone vertical fins. This creates a more dynamic urban fabric, on top of a new building identity within the district. Beyond aesthetics, the shadings are also simulated to reduce overall building energy use. This redevelopment project is envisioned to be a creative home environment for both its tenants and the public where they can come together to enjoy its vibrant urban spaces.
