JIAXING NANHU PLACE

Jiaxing Nanhu Tiandi historical and cultural buildings consist of 6 historical and cultural buildings distributed in 3 places, including the Jiaxing Silk Textile Mill, the first silk textile factory founded by Chinese, the Nanhu Middle School, which was built in 1961 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the Yuanhu Hotel, a cultural hotel to commemorate the delegates of the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China. With historical and cultural inheritance as the background, the design upholds the principle of restoring the old as before to renovate 6 historical and cultural buildings in 3 places along the South Lake of Jiaxing. Based on historical textual research, the project arranges the 6 buildings into the diversified functional formats, such as culture and art business, boutique hotel and Party construction base and so on.
