TAO ZHU YIN YUAN

The project is renowned as the most elite high-end residence in downtown Taipei City, memorable for its distinctive rotating architectural language. Inspiration for the lighting concept arose from the cyclical iterations of all living things. The unique vocabulary of the architecture results in the building having a shifting appearance based on viewing angle. Lighting utilizes this feature to employ “the echo of light and shadow — develop with illumination, and fill light with shadow” technique, which magnifies the extraordinary with elegant, understated white light. In concert with the dynamic lighting program, this structure expresses the luminous vision of eternal cycles and endless living, giving it a magical night presence in the dense urban jungle.
