The project is located on the north bank of Chaohu Lake in Anhui, backed by Shihu Mountain and facing the Gutang Reservoir, with high-quality natural mountain water resources .The design extracted the characteristics of Anhui residential buildings as design elements, so that the building’s image, space and material interpretation are rooted in local culture. Using the stacking of building volumes to ingeniously resolve the internal height difference of the site, create a series of serial space corridors, and form the spatial order of narrative courtyards .The horizontal design language weakens the volume of the building, makes the building hidden in the mountains and rivers, re-establishes the harmonious and interactive relationship between the building and the nature, and reflects the architectural attitude integrated into the site ·The colors of water, mountains, and light have a dialogue with people, forming a poetic space that is easy to be perceived.
