GEMDALE CITY THEATER (DEMONSTRATION AREA)

The City Theater by Gemdale is located in Chedun Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai. Most of the surrounding area is residential and industrial parks, with a high pedestrian flow. The preliminary functional planning of the project mainly serves as a sales center, and after the completion of the district, it will be transformed into a community entrance. The architectural design revolves around the “New Brown Stone Age”, paying tribute to classics with brown stone elements, and creating a warm, humane, and dramatic “urban gathering” with modern architectural language.
