HAIKOU INTERNATIONAL DUTY FREE SHOPPING COMPLEX PROJECT PARCEL IV
The design of the hotel echoes other plots in the Duty-Free City project. The shells and local fabric pattern, intangible cultural heritage, are integrated into the façade design, which symbolizes the intersection of people and culture. By rotating the entire building, the sea view ratio of most of rooms on both sides increases a lot. Circular shape creates a public space dedicated to the hotel and the surrounding courtyard, adding more possibilities for urban activities. Sustainable designs such as rainwater reuse and roof greening systems will help quickly achieve the “dual carbon” goal.
