SHANGHAI GUOHUA FINANCIAL CENTRE
Shanghai Guohua Financial Center, as a new gene of the North Bund, has a sculptural quality in its space, shape and exterior, echoing the surrounding environment. The KLID team extracted the broken line elements of the building to create an office space with a relatively free sculptural nature.
The definition of interior space is divided by volume and line and plane form. The use of irregular polyhedra allows the concept of sculpture to continue in space. A large area of ultra-white glass replaces the thick wall, and the thin and thin line borders are hidden inside. The physical partition volume of the meeting room is minimized. The ultra-white glass carries the functional division while blurring the boundaries of space and restoring the excellent city skyline scenery.
