TAIZHOU TENGDA CENTER
The final urban mixed-use project to be constructed on a newly created site in the region is Woods Bagot’s new Taizhou Tengda Centre, which is situated in the southwest corner of Taizhou’s Central Business District. A new modern office space is created by the building’s six blending towers, which also house a public entertainment area, high-end offices, and boutique retail on the same site. The design approach combines architecture, landscape, and interior, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors. Two distinct tall office buildings and four shorter hotel-style office buildings with sky gardens are naturally combined to make the recognizable twin-tower shape. As a new urban entrance and iconic structure in Taizhou’s central business district, the project has confirmed Taizhou’s status as a pioneering city in the development of China’s southeast coast while also boosting the functionality of the center city and the quality of urban life.
