“Turtleback City” is the origin of Wuxi’s urban development, and also the key pioneer area of ​​Wuxi’s urban renewal. The project takes the entire area of ​​Turtle City with an area of ​​3.64 square kilometers as the research object, and selected 17 recent renewable plots as key design objects based on research and evaluation. By identifying urban problems, listening to the appeals of citizens, front-line developers, and managers, and proposing an update strategy of “spatial weaving and functional integration”, empowering the development of the old city and telling a new story about Turtleback.Link up the dual-repair planning, improve the pain points, and promote the optimization of the urban system; integrate multiple technical resources downward, form a highly operable land development guideline, and continue to guide the follow-up urban development.
