LANRUN CHENGDU CHUNXI CENTER

This project is located the downtown of Chunxi Rd. in Chengdu. It is a high-rise with 129 meter height about commercial and office using, also two floors underground for commercial purposes. Under the excellent location, there is only one side which can face to the street, and the FAR is as high as 6.0. Therefore, how to effectively coordinate functions, display, transportation, and vision to achieve ideal conditions is undoubtedly a severe test for the design team. The team started with the concept of high mountains and waterfall and finally create the order from chaos by vertical direction. Through a customized operation strategies based on location characteristics, combining with other elements which extending to a series of vertical point such as roofgardens in high altitudes and 270 degree giant naked eye 3D screens, jointly make the problem about weakness of commercial value transmission in high area to be solved.
