XIANDA COLLEGE CHONGMING CAMPUS PHASE II

SISU Xianda College is beautifully situated in the charm of Chongming Eco-Island in Shanghai. The design includes three brand-new colleges – College of International Exchange, College of Humanities and Arts, and College of Business Management, as well as other facilities such as library, student center, and administrative building. The design concept comes from Xianda’s educational philosophy – “an education that’s truly integrated between local and global”. Each building defines numerous exterior spaces that act as formal and informal settings for socialization, education and presentation. The variety of exterior environments will be designed as a family of unique formal gardens, tree groves, shaded plazas and seating areas that are inter-connected and create a network of outdoor spaces that will encourage interaction, learning, and recreation.
