SHENZHEN CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC

Shenzhen Conservatory of Music integrates the demand for high-level talent in the field of music and the arts within the Greater Bay Area, leveraging the successful experience of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Drawing inspiration from the advanced educational practices of top institutions both domestically and internationally, and incorporating the unique “openness” concept of the city, the college aspires to be a globally-oriented, innovative, and world-class institution for music and arts education. With a dual focus on education and culture, the project reflects a mutual intention between the campus and the city, potentially becoming a rare example in China of an open cultural facility bridging the gap from campus to city.
