SANYA YAZHOU BAY NANFAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CITY KINDERGARTEN PRIMARY SCHOOL

The project is located in Sanya – Yazhou District, Hainan Province. Project construction scale: a modern campus with 12 kindergarten classes and 30 primary school classes;Design concept: It is not only a school, but also a system of educational building facilities. It is a material space and a spiritual space. Architecture is just a “container” for education.Design strategy: Multiple surfaces: A three-dimensional activity platform and an open and flowing space system are constructed by the dislocation and layering of streamlined horizontal plates. Composite and multiple: break the traditional school layout, not simply divide the campus into strict zoning of functional areas, but a composite and multiple teaching space. Breathing architecture: Combining natural conditions to create a “breathing architecture” adapted to the local climate.
