FUDAN UNIVERSITY HANDAN ROAD SOUTH AREA URBAN REGENERATION

The project is located on the south side of Handan Road, Shanghai, a key node in the science and technology innovation developing strategy of in Yangpu District, and an integral part of the Handan Road Campus of Fudan University. The design proposes a “1+2+2+X” campus-city integration system. Through four strategies, it bridges the spatial gap between existing campus and city. The future Fudan South Area, an international innovation community with a high degree of integration of century-old humanities and international cities, will have a long cultural heritage, the academic atmosphere of a campus, the hustle and bustle of the city, diverse innovation soil, also unique spatial features.
