Radici, a leading Italian chemicals manufacturer commissioning VIRTUARCH to be responsible for architecture and interior design, and project management for its new factory in Suzhou Industrial Park. The sustainable and high-performance facility with the use of a photovoltaic system, rainwater recycling and intelligent lighting system earned LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and GBL-2 star certifications. VIRTUARCH adopted a unique style of contemporary industrial aesthetics and Suzhou garden’s characteristic, successfully realizing a healthy working environment and conserving energy for the company operations. In the production building, the layout of the production-related spaces optimizes the industrial production flow. Combining functionality with an elegant design throughout all areas of the building, VIRTUARCH has made this industrial building a real benchmark of good industrial building design.
