QINGYANG YUE FU(DEMONSTRATION AREA)

The project is located in Qingyang District, Chengdu. Using laminated wood mortise and tenon structures and orthogonal glued wood combined with steel structure steel-wood hybrid systems, we aim to break through traditional wooden forms, create natural and warm spatial experiences, and showcase the natural and sustainable material essence of wood. We adhere to the principle of shaping a human-oriented environment and explore innovative processes for wooden systems. In addition to meeting structural load requirements, the central design of the entrance gray space combines woodwork to convey cultural metaphors – the rotating wheel hidden in the Longxing Temple in Zhengding. It symbolizes the foundation of a learned family and serves as the visual center of the project as well as the focus of landscape lighting,implicitly embodying the concept of “scene within a scene”.
