Chongqing Vanke 17 Miles

The project is a unique exploration in large-scale Chinese commercial residential design. It uses modern architecture language to articulate a hilltop city community on the slopes next to Jialing River. It is “an exploration of the future and the stars”, and its sales gallery is shaped as ‘The Observatory’ upon the Jialing River. In the age where lifestyle is becoming one with architectural design, the project originates from nature and natural landscape, and creates more public space through raised floors, which also gives residents a wider view of the river. The cascades and multi-level layout are shout-outs to the natural landscape of hills and waters.
