Legends of Canal

With textile culture and canal culture as the theme, Changzhou Legends of Canal will build a cultural tourism complex of 500,000 square meters by relying on Dacheng No.3 Factory. It will build a multi-functional living city integrating cultural protection architecture, leisure tourism, arts and humanities, public square, residence and garden office, etc. Dacheng No.3 Factory has re-entered people’s vision as a cultural protection building in Changzhou, as an exhibition area of plant renovation and urban regeneration, Dacheng No.3 Factory will be integrated into people’s life again. Combining the culture of the republic of China and the Beijing-Hangzhou canal culture, as well as the old factory building and the century-old tree of the site, we re-integrate resources in a low-key manner and re-create a pearl on the edge of the canal relying on the site.
