Longfor Chongqing Shun Shan Fu Sales Center

The overall spatial layout of the demonstration area maximized the interaction between humans and mountains, where the ceremonial ritual of ‘climbing the mountain’ has been emphasized through design. There is almost 40m elevation drop between Sales Center and Main Entrance. We took advantage of this topographic condition to arrange multiple transition nodes for landscape viewing. Therefore, visitors can appreciate the mountain and valley landscape from different vantage points. Design at crucial nodes have adopted the concept of ‘Mountain Gate’ and emphasized on the ceremonial atmosphere of ‘entering’. The Sales Center is located at the core area of the project. We took advantage of the natural cliff setting to create a reflection water feature, the ‘Mirror of Mountain and Forest’. All the beautiful changes between sunny sky, rainy days, misty forests and cloudy hills will be engraved in this mirror of water and revealed in front of visitors.
